The Imber Club

By SPP Reporter

The Imber Club is the Junior Ranks Club. There are two bars: the Musketeer for Permanent Staff of the HQ Warminster Garrison, and the Crack and Thump for visiting military students attending courses. The Club offers the following additional facilities: snooker room, two television rooms, public telephones and function rooms, stage, and large garden area with barbecue stand.

The Imber Club Committee, composed of members of the Support Unit, Warminster, organises games nights, disco evenings, karaoke nights, barbecues, country and western nights and other entertainments for the Permanent Staff. They are always very popular and well attended on Sundays and on special occasions, families and children are most welcome. The Club has a number of toys and games for children on such occasions.

The Club may be used for private functions provided that food and drink are organised through the unit and NAAFI, and that, if required, the PRI disco is hired. Bookings should be arranged through NAAFI Imber Club Manager 212689.
