Service Personnel medical cover is provided as follows:

(1) Sick Parade is normally held from

0730-0800hrs Phase II Recruits

0800-0830hrs Perm Staff

Routine problems – by appointment by telephoning: Ext 4209.

Acute (ie overnight onset) Emergency – Seen as quickly as medical condition dictates throughout working hours. Phone Ext 4209

(2) – by appointment Mon-Fri 0830-1200hrs – telephone Ext 4209 (Civ 01264 784209)(Mil 94329 4209)Routine Clinic

(3) etc appointmentsMedical Board/Fit to Attend

Mon, Tues & Thurs 1300-1600hrs

(4) Outside Working Hours medical cover is providedby NHS 111 (1830+) or 999 if an emergency.

Families. All families are advised to register with a Civilian GP Surgery/Practice as soon as possible when arriving at Middle Wallop. To find a local GP please go to www.nhs.uk/service-search and simply put in your SFA postcode.

Please note for seriously injured/illnesses involving civilian personnel call the Medical Centre for immediate attention and 999 requesting an ambulance.

Outside working hours, the means of transport is at the individual’s or head of family’s choice. These are: Private transport – normally the quickest and most convenient.

Unit transport – telephone or call at the Guardroom and ask for transport.

Extreme Emergency – In the case of a serious accident or illness call an ambulance by dialling 999.
