Bulford and Tidworth Medical Centre with QEMHC

Primary Health Care for all military personnel within Netheravon Station is carried out at the Bulford & Tidworth Medical Centre.

Dental Care

Dental Care for all military personnel is also carried out at the Bulford Dental Centre. Military personnel requiring emergency treatment should report to the Dental Centre at 0830 hrs Monday to Friday.

Home Visits

These are made at the discretion of the Duty Doctor. In an emergency Tel: QEMHC, Army Network 94342 2285 or Civ: 01980 650285.

Family Planning

As General Practitioners, the Medical Centre is only too pleased to discuss family planning in all its aspects. There is a local Family Clinic available, if desired, based at the Amesbury Health Centre. A clinic is held every Tuesday between 1800-2000 hrs. Tel: Amesbury 623831 during session.

Medicines

The Practice has a dispensary which is open during all clinic and surgery times except Wednesday afternoons. It is closed lunchtime 1230-1400 hrs.

Vaccinations

Families: Wed each week 1400-1600 hrs.

No appointment necessary.

Service Personnel: Fri from 1400 hrs, or if necessary by appointment.

Soldiers Surgery By appointment.

Officers and Senior Ranks By appointment.

Medicals Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays by appointment.

Smear and Ante-Natal Clinic Thursday afternoon.

Health Visitors

The Health Visitors are attached to the Medical Centre and based in the Community Centre, Wilson Road, Larkhill. There is normally a Health Visitor available on weekday mornings between 0900-1200 hrs. Messages can be left on an answerphone, which also gives details of alternative contact numbers when necessary Tel: 01980 845266

Child Health Clinics are on Monday 1330-1430 hrs, Wednesday 0930-1230 hrs and Friday 1000-1100 hrs and are open to families, whether registered at the Medical Centre or not. Please note that this is a clinic for well children.

Baby Clinic

Health Visitors are part of the NHS Community Health Services. They are qualified nurses with special training and experience in child health and health promotion. They work alongside the Families Medical Officer and civilian doctors.

As well as working with families with children under five, Health Visitors may be able to provide help or information to all age groups. The Health Visitor at Larkhill is based in the Community Centre, Wilson Road, and can be contacted on Tel: 01980 845266. Families registered with civilian practices can obtain details of their Health Visitor from the practice concerned.
