Out of Hours
The local Primary Care Trust covers the hours from 1830-0800 hrs Mon-Fri and 1830 hrs Fri to 0800 hrs Monday and Bank Holidays. For urgent medical attention when the condition is such that it cannot reasonably wait until the next working day dial 08450 450411.
Your call will be answered by the Lincolnshire Ambulance Service. They will take basic details and pass them to a triage nurse who will determine your health needs. If the nurse cannot give appropriate advice or treatment, arrangements will be made for you to be seen by a doctor. Patients who require an Out-of Hours appointment will be seen at the Primary Care Centre at Grantham District Hospital or the Stamford Emergency Centre at Stamford Hospital. The NHS Service 111 is in operation in the Rutland area. You can call 111 when you need medical help fast but it’s not a 999 emergency. In sudden life threatening emergencies do not hesitate in dialling 999. Personnel with dependants registered at the Station Medical Centre are to ensure that this information is passed on appropriately. Further information is available at the Station Medical Centre.
To arrange an appointment contact 01572 772069. Appointments are held in the Station Medical Centre.
