18 Army Education Centre encourages service personnel, their dependants and the wider defence community to use the huge range of facilities provided by the centre. As well as officer and soldier career development courses such as CLM and JOLP, our impressive computing facilities allow soldiers and their dependants to complete e-learning courses in subjects ranging from IT and languages to the Official Theory Test for Car Drivers and various management courses.
If we are unable to provide the education or personal development course you are looking for, we can point you towards the other further education establishments in the local area, and ensure that you are aware of any educational grants that you can claim to help pay for these courses.
Dependants can also keep in touch with those soldiers serving on operations using our free email facilities and why not stop by our well-stocked library to browse through the magazines, books and videos that adorn the shelves? We hope to provide additional opportunities for courses to dependants whilst units are deployed on operations and a friendly welcome awaits all who visit 18 Army Education Centre.
