See a remarkable collection which includes engines, carriages, wagons a large gauge- model railway and Stephenson’s “Locomotion” which hauled the first train when the line opened in 1825. Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum, Malton, North Yorkshire YO17 6RT. Malton Experience the sights and sounds of World War Two on both the Front Line and the Home Front and the role played by British and Commonwealth Military Forces since 1945 up to the present day. Forbidden Corner. Tupgill Park Estate, Coverham, Middleham Leyburn, North Yorkshire DL8 4TJ. Just when you thought it was safe to go in to the garden, who dares visit the Forbidden Corner. Open daily from 01 April until 31 October and Sundays until Christmas from 1200-1800 hrs. Admission is by booking only throughout the season.
