The award-winning Station attracts over 340,000 visitors a year, offering Film, Food and Art, seven days a week, all under the one roof. There are two cinema screens, showing everything from art-house to blockbusters; a caf. bar and restaurant; an art gallery on two floors; a heritage centre, and a collection of artisan food producers. It’s no wonder that the place is always buzzing. There is also a busy programme of community classes and events for local residents.
The Station welcomes everyone from families to business groups and has rooms available for private hire including a 14-seat boardroom and the popular Swale Room holding up to 30. Audio-visual equipment and wi-fi internet access are available, and catering, from a sandwich to a formal lunch, is provided by Seasons Restaurant. The Station platform is also available for hire for events.
